YABU You'll enjoy the film so much more if you go with a friend who will enjoy it and agree with you and say "wasn't that great" at the end. I gave up going to the movies with DH years ago and we draw straws as to who has to go to the worst of the kids ones (he usually loses cos he can sleep through them ...)

YANBU but do you really want to listen to the moaning?? Definitely better to go with someone who actually wants to go. Also complain loudly while he is watching match of the day just for your own fun!!
