To make DH book a babysitter?

On Fri night I'm going out. It has been in the diary for ages. DH is staying in to look after the children.

Tonight he says he wants to go out for a few beers on Friday night so can I book him a babysitter.

He has not booked one babysitter since we had children 5 years ago. AIBU unreasonable to make him book one for himself? He says I am because he books all the holidays. [hmmm]

YANBU, I would think the same as you, that he should book it.

But, is it worth falling out over one phonecall?

Did he say please btw?

either you book it for hm or make sure you book the next holiday

I can see why he would want to you book it TBH, if he hasn't in 5 years then presumably you know who the good babysitters are and have built up a relationship with them.

Holidays is a stupid answer.
