Asking if I am pregnant on Mumsnet

I have been feeling unwell for a few days, thought I had a stomach bug. Found a cheap internet test in the bathroom and within seconds two thick blue lines appeared. The test must be a couple of years old and it was very cheap so I do not believe it. My last period was 2 months ago that was very light flow and the one before that was another two months before.

I have just driven to the nearest 24 hour supermarket in total shock and I now have one of those digital tests which tell you how pregnant you are. Just for fun, whilst I drink a lot of juice so I can pee again. If my sickly feeling is due to pregnancy, how pregnant must I be ?

I remember a young girl being admitted to A+E with renal colic... 30 min later the first of twins was delivered !!

RenderedSpeechless · 30/11/2009 21:58

FancyAGame · 30/11/2009 21:59

This certainly explains how tired I have felt recently. LOL. I am going to be having another baby. Another newborn head to sniff and cuddle.

Of course, the other mystery that needs solving is, are you really called FancyAGame or is that a cunning disguise???

Congratulations, btw!

FancyAGame · 30/11/2009 22:05

PacificDogwood · 30/11/2009 22:10

Go on, go on, go on!

You know you want to. And we won't tell.

LargeGlassofRed · 30/11/2009 22:12

Ah congratulations have you thought you may be 4 weeks pregnant with twins

happened to me, the indicator put me further on, then scan showed 2 little beans

FancyAGame · 30/11/2009 22:12

I will update this thread later on, when I have got over the shock and told a few real life people. Don't get too excited, very few people outside a couple of specific boards on here will recognise my normal name.

Thanks for playing along with me

bellavita · 30/11/2009 22:12

Tease!

FancyAGame · 30/11/2009 22:13

Twins are not in the family on either side. One healthy bean is all we ask for.

Vallhala · 30/11/2009 22:13

PacificDogwood · 30/11/2009 22:19

YABVVU to want to tell RL people before us

VengefulKitty · 30/11/2009 22:22

Ah so, this thread has made me

Congratulations!

Oh, and I agree with Pacific. Def BU to tell RL before MN!

MaureenMLove · 30/11/2009 22:31

Hmmm!

Well she knows me well enough to call me Maureen and not MML or MaureenML, but not well enough to call me Mo. So, she's not a Bar dweller or a Childminder!
