to feel sorry for DS having to go back for a second SF jab in 3 weeks?

He had one on saturday and age 5 was much more aware of it and how much it "really really hurt me ". Turns out children have the SF jab in two half doses 3 weeks apart! Poor kid, he is not going to be as co--operative in 3 weeks when I take him for the next one!

Awww he's only five as well bless him.

My DD (9) had her first one last week, and the amount of fuss she made beforehand honestly, you'd think I was taking her to have her hand hacked off lol she was absolutely fine afterwards though, and only played on it for about two days

The next time she's having the seasonal flu jab in one arm and the SF in the other! I'm stocking up on sweets and sympathy.

I found it much more guilt indicing than when he was little - I don't think he realised how much it would hurt beforehand when we went on saturday, I think there will be some serious bribery here in a few weeks time.
