Know the feeling.Am terrible insomniac on my non-nightshift nights.Onthe plus side in between mumsnetting I have baked and iced two birthday cakes ready for softplay birthday party hell tommorow whilst surreptitiously downing the majority of a bottle of Rose and grumbling at naff progs on at radio 4.

YANBU, I do this loads. Too lazy to go upstairs when I'm nice and warm in front of the tv with laptop.

Also, to my shame, I left the kitchen like the Somme because I had to watch The Thick Of It and then fell asleep on the sofa while loads of crap was on.
But Peter Kay on the last Parkinson is very funny.

i dyed my hair an ungodly colour at midnight in a fit of madness.

Ooo Peter Kay, may drag myself to the sofa and put on phoenix nights. My kitchen has also been pushed down the 'to do' list for tonight, was hoping that DP would do it but no joy and he ate my doughnut!!!! A dangerous thing for any one to do.

im wide awake as well.... the intention being to tidy up the living room and goo to bed but it just isnt happening.
