To think drinking gin and lucozade is a great idea to reduce a hangover?

Well, am I?
That's what I am drinking. It's an emergency. No wine in the house

YANBU Its an emergency - does it taste good? (she says, wonderingly). Don't forget water too. Between each alcoholic drink, drink a glass of water.

jasper · 28/11/2009 23:50

Yes it's delicious

YABU - it must be diet coke for breakfast and then a lager shandy made with an alcopop for the lemondae. At least that is what we used to do when I was at Uni.

Am now more grown up and realise the dangers of drinking etc etc

Bloody hell, you must be a lot younger than me! I can't even think of the idea of a hangover without feeling nauseous!

Gin and Lucozade eh? What does it taste like?

I only drink Lucozade when I'm knackered and in need of a sugar boost and gin only with tonic or bitter lemon on a hot summer's evening. I'm almost jealous!

Hmmm, I think vodka would be nicer than gin but desperate times...

jasper · 29/11/2009 00:16

valhalla It tastes like lucozade with the sickly edge removed.

Letsblow I will try vodka next time
