how on earth does she make any money at those prices? are they all acrylic and knitted by peruvian elves?

Caitni · 26/11/2009 12:41

Gorgeous stuff! And so reasonable (honestly, living in London I've seen tiny knitted toys being sold for £15 a pop ).

Thanks for the link

pigletmania · 26/11/2009 12:41

I am not sure, there is an Arun wool section, and i think that the babies things are knitted with baby wool that you can buy in the shops. She does it for a hobby and loves knitting, i have not seen them in quite a while, but a topic about an £180 Lily Cole scarf got me thinking about my friend and his wifes website. Her knitting is lovely though.

Thats ok give them a try!She has said on her site that it will take time to knit the items but be patient. She is an elderly lady and i think my friend helps her run the site.

oh they are gorgeous. i wish i had a baby girl and i would go mad and buy everything!!

what chest size would a average 12-18 month size child be do you think??

twolittlemonkeys · 26/11/2009 12:54

I was looking at those things and thinking 'if only I had a girl....' So cute. I especially like the poncho and beret set

pigletmania · 26/11/2009 13:10

I am not sure alla, just wrap a measureing take around your little ones chest and see. It all depend on the size of your lo, she does knit in blue and dark colours for boys just select the colour option or e mail her. I have just ordered the hat and poncho set for my dd 2.8 years and have e mailed her to see if she will knit a similar beret for me in the same colour.

I would like to thank the ladies on mumsnet for taking an interest in my website www.cosybabys.co.uk. My site is the one with in-expensive hand knitted garments. Unfortunately with so much traffic my site crashed :-) It will be up and running again on 1st. December. I can no longer guarantee any orders ready for Christmas, Sorry. Happy Christmas to you all.
