To think that in France they make far too much fuss about children's names?

I just can't believe the amount of fuss the French are making about Renault calling their new car 'Zoe'.

Online petitions, complaints to the manufacuturers - the British would never make this kind of fuss. It's this kind of thing that shows what really divides our two countries.

Is this some kind of competition to mention France at any given opportunity?

Report message time I think.

It's pretty silly for people to object to the car's name. Still, I don't think it's true that the British would never make a similar fuss - as an example, there was the recent news story about people complaining about the M&S ad showing a woman wearing underwear. Often with this type of story there are only a few people who complain and the media like to make a meal of it.
