OP - I agree with you.

When I said that to the teacher I work with (am a TA) she told me I was being a snob!

She is doing a job and uses appalling grammar.

I also told the teacher that I am fed up with lots of people saying 'you should be sat on the carpet.' (teachers say this ALL the time) and it should be sitting.

YANBU

I can't stand her.

belgo · 21/11/2009 19:26

I am a teacher and I think her grammar is appalling. My ears hurt when she speaks. She looks lovely but God when she opens her mouth - she has just said (which DH has just repeated) 'You have got to work a little bit more harder' Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat???? How much does she earn???Grrrrrrrrrrr

FabHasHadHerSurprise · 21/11/2009 19:39

"A bit more harder"
