To want a sign asking Santa to shop that shows some effing MANNERS

My nieces have had for years a sign in their front garden at Christmas time which says "Santa, Please Stop Here!"

I would like one for my DCs. All I can find is "Santa Stop Here" ones.

Where can I get one that says "please" please?

I appreciate that I am being a bit poncey, demanding politeness to someone who doesn't actually exist, but those other ones look so bloody rude and imperative.

Or would I BU to go up, in the dead of night, to all the "Santa Stop Here" ones that will spring up in our neighbourhood soon and write on them "Not till you get some manners, you little buggers"

Go on... I dare you to!

I'd quite like one that says santa's nookie nest or whatever the young couple on corrie (years ago Gary and someone rings a bell) had in their window. It nearly gave Vera a heart attack. She lived next door.

here you go

cocolepew · 20/11/2009 11:32

I have one that says "Santa, leave presents, take sister".

memoo · 20/11/2009 11:39

great minds!

kreecherlivesupstairs · 20/11/2009 12:17

Bloody hell, now that I've seen what they look like I think YABU toward your neighbours!

Iklboo · 20/11/2009 12:20

If you can't get one try to think of the sign as

Santa Stop Here meaning 'This is a Santa Stop' - like a bus stop or rest stop

BalloonSlayer · 20/11/2009 12:22

LOL Kreecher, you might be right there

Guess I feel guilty that my nieces are 22 and 19 and still have their sign every year (I presume it's one of those sentimental family traditions!) yet mine don't have one.

Thanks to memoo and brandonsflower I can now annoy the neighbours to my heart's content.

Good idea Iklboo.

The award for "Kindly thinking the best of rude, grasping people in 2009" goes to you, bless your heart!
