to think that it's a bit much to ask for a caravan on freecycle?

loads of caravans advertised on freecycle here

people have nowhere to keep them so they give them away - also if you look on ebay they can be almost worthless

StealthPolarBear · 18/11/2009 19:43

well yabu, because if they get any 'takers' then it will be someone who wants rid of a caravan! Can't see anyone looking at the caravan they want and use and thinking "no, must give this to that person on freecycle"
Try asking for a boat - you might be surprised!

choufleur · 18/11/2009 19:45

don't really want a boat. can i ask for a 5-bed detached house with stables?

now you mention it I have one lying around in the garage. It's a bit dusty and needs a lick of paint but is yours if you can pick up?

raindroprhyme · 18/11/2009 21:02

we got our caravan on freecycle (didn't ask for it mind) and my brother in law got a boat. a proper sailing boat!!!

cakeywakey · 18/11/2009 21:03

I suppose if you don't ask, you don't get

AgentZigzag · 18/11/2009 22:12

L and lols I wouldn't like to go on hols in the crappy state of caravan you'd get, something like this perhaps? I'm sure it's a much sought after classic model!

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 18/11/2009 22:15

I quite like that classic model, I bet with a few thousand quid bit of Cath Kidston fabric, it would be divine!

But yes, if you don't ask you don't get.
