To ring the house phone from my mobile phone so DP releases his VICE like grip on the TV remote in his haste to answer it :)))

Weeeell, I might have been just a little, especially when I laughed at him down the phone line and told him I would now be turning over AND hiding the remote

Ooooooooh I have tonnes more little scams like that but tell me about yours!!

Once my dp ran a lovely hot bath so I asked him to run and check because I thought I heard the baby crying and I was having a pee and when he came back there I was lavishly soaking in the bath having added a really expensive ylang and jasmine bath bomb so dp could not make me get out

Brilliant plan - will keep mobile next to me at all times

I'm a great fan of the 'while you're up' technique. It does require patience, but when they do finally lift their bums off the sofa, a nice long list of:
make tea, get a , run a bath, fetch the laptop, empty the dishwasher etc can be reeled off. Extra guilt-tripping can be applied by adding the phrase 'I would, but I'm feeding the baby'

Works every time
