DH will not believe it .

I did two tests today because we (rather stupidly) had unprotected relations in the last few weeks and I noticed my boobs were sore and I felt totally knackered!! My AF is not due for another 10 days (or thereabouts) and DH has said that even though I have had 2 BFP (albeit very faint)he will not believe it until I miss my period so 'lets wait another 10 days before we know it's true'. I can't have a false positive can I??

Can your MNetters tell him I am preggers (will be a 4th DC) and we can break out the champagne!!

Although it may be that he is in denial because we have previously had twins and as I am an older mum (38), the chances are higher!!

You can't have a false positive.

I did about 3 tests (negative) as I was convinced I was pregnant. 4th one I got a very faint line. This was before my period was due as I was convinced I was pregnant. Turns out it was twin boys but I won't scare you

congrats! could be twins and high levels of hcg hence early result!

OMG - at least if it is twins, I've been there and got the t-shirt so know what to expect!!

Will buy one of those Clearblue tests tomorrow that actually say 'pregnant' (I used cheapie ones today) and wave it in front of DH's face .

My DP wouldnt believe I was pregnant till I had a scan at 12 weeks! LOL When we had the 20wk scan he was still going in saying that there must have been a mistake at the first one! lol

My VERY faith line is now asleep in his cot.....

With my twins I knew straight away before I was late and then I stupidlyjoked after the positive test "Wouldn`t it be funny if itwas twins and one of each?"
Guess what I got?
My babies (DC3 and 4)are nearly 6 now and people still laugh about my being so blase.

Men are strange are'nt they, my dh and i planned ds and when i went to tell him he was shocked, what the bloody hell did he think was going to happen!
Congrats and OP DH you can not get false positive!

Clearblue says 'pregnant 2-3 weeks' and that was not the first wee of the day and I had drank quite a lot before. Looks like it's definite then . Am going to see if I can arrange an early scan cos if it's twins again, I will need to prepare myself .

10 days before a period seems a long shot - don't think the tests would pick that up so soon.

Any chance that it could be from an earlier event ?

Your twins - fraternal or id ? If id then there is no more chance of twins again than for anyone else. If fraternal - then could be.

How exciting. Two of my faint lines are at school and one is at nursery .
