Hi - nipped into Tesco's at lunchtime. Needed to buy a box of tissues for my desk. I like tissues with nice patterns on.

Selected a lovely blue box with colourful spots on, which said "Fun Tissues". Got it back to the office, opened the box ... tissues are plain white! What is "fun" about that?

Box doesn't say anything at all about the colour of the tissues ... it should have said "Fun box - white tissues"

Cost me £1.30 as well. If I had wanted white tissues I'd have bought a cheaper box. OK I know this is trivial, but why can't they just make it clear????

Colleague says I should go to trading standards as the box is misleading - don't think he is taking the piss ... what would you do?

I can see how this must have been a huge disappointment to you but you need to let this go otherwise you will be seen as a plant pot in your place of work.

I agree with you - have myself been disappointed like this in the past. Seriously all I wanted was something to brighten my corner.

Yes the box is misleading and you could go to trading standards - but, quite frankly, life is too short!

Maybe the fun is in finding the one with the spots on...

Rip them up and stuff them through the letter box of the manufacturers headquarters. Preferably used. They'll know what it's about...

Oh, yes. It is hiding seek with the spotty tissue.

You could always draw pretty patterns on them with highlighters.

Would keep you quiet for a while be a productive use of your time.
