I did it, watched Eastenders for YEARS loathing it. Went Cold Turkey in the end.. now I avoid it at all costs.. not to get sucked back in... it's sooo liberating!

I have never watched Hollyoaks, the X factor, Footballer's Wives, Britain's got talent or any of those crap ITV offerings. I only watch 'the 3rd channel' as we oldies call it for the News at 10 and then only if the kids have left it on that channel.

Haven't watched Coronation St since I left home over 30 years ago or Eastenders since I ditched exH over 20 years ago and no longer had to tolerate it.

Do listen to the Archers though occasionally
