to be unreasonably annoyed with DH

for having his annual night out with the boys on the one night one of our cats decides to have diarrhoea down the stairs. I am 7 months pregnant and feel unreasonably cross at DH that it is his fault (in some way as yet unknown) and to feel hard done by that I am scraping runny cat poo off our cream carpet while he gets pissed up

I know I am BU but he is not answering his phone and I need to wail at someone in my misery !

YANBU to not want to clean up cat poop from the stair carpet - pregnant or not, it is a vile job

However, YABU if you think DH is in any way responsible......unless of course he fed the cat something awful which may have induced aforementioned poop.

You are 7 months pregnant, so presumably cannot move very fast. Your DH, on the other hand, can. If your DH had been in, he could have got to your cat quick enough to get him/her outside/to litter tray.

That is why it's his fault.

horrid job wet boak
not dh fault though

Just do what my MIL used to do when she had a cat. Any accidents that they had she would cover with toilet paper ready for FIL to deal with as soon as he came through the front door.

I am loving your logic TTTT !!!

Hubs just phoned, said he was having a shit night and I said "not as literally shit as mine !!"

CrackFox, I would do that but he's not coming home till about 5 tomorrow. I think I will die of the fumes if I leave it overnight.

they have also been sick on the landing, very naughty cats.

It does sounds gross, you have my sympathies.

Fibilou · 14/11/2009 23:10

Fortunately I have a box of latex gloves (don't ask) in the cupboard so can protect myself from the poo !

YABU (because you do say you're being unreasonably annoyed in the title).
YANBU to have been very, very disgruntled at the cats though!
