A bitter and one sided view of motherhood. Do you agree?

My most ridiculous protestation of independence eventful trip was the day I decided that 2 year old DD, 1 year old DS in a spica cast and my behemoth of a double buggy needed to go to the Natural History Museum to see the dinosaurs. In high summer. With a picnic. Many, many members of the public were roped into helping out with that little excursion. And they were all very gracious too.

Mostly, people are fine if you are OK with them. And I was using public transport in London with my 3 under 5 on a daily basis until a couple of months ago. Mostly fine, occasional idiots being annoying but you get that everywhere.

I live in north London and brought up my child here. I did not find people were anti-child - just the opposite. As the previous poster said commuters will often help carry a buggy downstairs without being asked, or help mothers with little ones on the bus. You seem to think all those other travellers are childless people themselves. Just because your children aren't with you doesn't mean you can't remember what it's like to take small children about with you.
London commuters are usually in a hurry but I have always found that the majority of people are rather kind - particularly if you ask them to help you.
