To send DH back to the shop?

Asked DH to nip to the shop for some tomatos & a loaf of bread..... he came home with a tin of toms & lotto ticket

He never, EVER plays the lotto/scratch cards or anything, never has done as he thinks it's a waste of money but he said he was standing at the checkout & something made him want to buy a lotto ticket so he put the bread back & bought one!

Wasn't very impressed as I can't eat a lotto ticket but then I keep thinking what if he makes our fortune with that ticket.....but I still need the bread! AIBU to send him back to the shop?

Princess, no he only had a few quid as neither of us carry cash generally so it was just what I had in my purse!

He's currently moaning saying he doesn't want to go out again, looks like we're breadless til tomorrow afternoon

Still, if the lotto ticket comes up trumps I'll let him off
