does he have parental responsibility for the children? If not then have you been given a reason why your children dont deserve the money

TheLadyEvenstar · 10/11/2009 11:02

I was told by csa that they have to take into consideration her children.

The CSA are a useful as a hat full of arseholes

They have been trying to get my xp to pay up the £5 a week they say he should give me for the last 3 yrs, 3 fucking years and i have had ziltch, nada, nothing.

TheLadyEvenstar · 10/11/2009 11:13

makes no sense!

That´s sh!t!

So, the reduced amount he pays-does the "extra" he used to pay go to his girlfriends children?

diddl · 10/11/2009 11:45

So "logically", because he´s with a woman with children, his own suddenly need less money??

TheLadyEvenstar · 10/11/2009 11:54

Apparently the CSA have to take into account the other children regardless of whether they get CSA from their fathers.

He also has told them he pays £120 a week rent.... in a house he lives in with a woman who owns it!

the kids are 21, 17, 12 and 5. The 5 yr old stays with her father weekly and he pays the mother £150 a month.

I only know this because when she was messaging ds1 i stepped in and ended up having a lot of conversations with her.

Madness that the CSA reduce payments for his child because he is living in a house with children he has no legal responsibility for.
Crazy...

oldraver · 10/11/2009 17:19

Unfortunetly this is how they work, I ma confused as to where the rent comes into it. Is he saying he is paying this to the woman and does it matter to the CSA ?. Surely if he is living with her, as her partner as he would have to be for the CSA to be taking her DC's into account with the calculation.. then he wouldn't be paying rent to her ?

TheLadyEvenstar · 10/11/2009 18:35

Oldraver

sorry I should have explained it clearer. He has told the CSA that he pays the rent for the property. However she tells a different story in as much as she owns the property bought out of inheritance .......

Yes that was my other though option (more my misreading that your telling[grim])

I dont understand why the CSA would be interested in him paying rent for the property is he thinking they will feel sorry for him and take it into account ? Unless he is telling them he is paying rent as 'proof' he has taken the children on as his own and therefore gets the discount
