Our uncle died on Thursday so we were all quite upset still are, my idiot of a brother has come out with "its nothing to do with me what goes on down there".
Our aunt and uncle where really good to us kids when we were little they never had children but treated all the nieces and nephews like their own we used to stay with them in the holidays and they were always visiting. What would you do?

Try to ignore him. Does he have low self esteem or depression? I know it isn't easy but wait until the grief has subsided a bit, could even be a strange reaction? If it's usual for him to come out with s@#t then definitely ignore him.

Sorry about your loss x

Ignore.

But what did he mean by it?
I guess if you are not next of kin, then he is correct in thinking that arrangements are nothing to do with you.

Doesn´t mean you can´t offer to help.
