This is my 1st week of posting and i had no idea it was so addictive!! My house is a tip I have the euoropean ironing mountain in my kitchen and what am I doing? Posting on mumsnet. Maybe that drugs advisor who quit could look into the addictive qualities on MN I think I might have to go cold turkey soon in the interests of my kids having clothes to wear!

Exactly! Storge - best use for them.

I would pull down our conservatory and build something more substantial given the money but in the meantime, it is somewhere to dump all the toys I keep meaning to ebay/give away.

Another job for 'between courses' not yet done.

Sorry hobnob - I think we have hijacked your thread a bit. again.

At least you know you aren't alone!!

Seriously? I dont own an ironing board! Will buy one one day as a decoration for cupboard.

I know I need to do the dishes but look at all the fiery threads i can get fierce post in.

Hijack away! I love it! At least a thread where everyone seems Personally I think conservatories are too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter ! and in view of my resolution to not iron again think I will turn my ironing board into a bit of Tracy Eminesque modern art

Yeah, down with conservatories!!

One less room to clean - 5 more hours minutes a week on MN.

I have work to finish AND in-laws (plus two children) arriving from abroad this evening - to house that is post-half term pigsty and only has one small spare room with no made up bed.

And what am I doing now????

Undercovamutha · 05/11/2009 15:24

My DH always asks 'so, what's new on MN?' like its just 5 mums talking about one thing per day!
BTW my DCs both went to bed for a hour at the same time this lunchtime (can't remember the last time DD did that) and I spent the hour on MN. And now I'm back on again now!
Argh!

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 05/11/2009 16:43

DH just got in and complemented on how tidy the house is looking I put on my martyr face and mopped my fevered brow "haven't stopped all day" at least my secret is safe {wink}
