London congestion charging have taken my money twice

London Congestion Charging took my payment twice from my bank account on Monday, and now I can't get through on the phone - it just rings and rings till I give up - to sort it out. Is it just me?

They have done this to DS once, he called the payment line not the complaint line as they seem to have more people on that one, funny hey, anyway they transfered him over and it was sorted.

you are so right - not something to be recommended. at any price. but no choice on this occasion. At first I thought it must have been my fault on Monday that they took the payment twice, because I don't use it very often. it's not much of a system if that can happen.
