to think that I shouldn't get so many blardy chin hairs during pregnancy?

I know, I know, the books say you're likely to get more of the thick little blighters when you're preg, but I don't understand why. Surely, hormonally speaking, my body is at its most 'feminine' than at any other time in my life. So why the hell is my otherwise splendid chin being plagued by all these manly-looking hairs?

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! All I wanted was a blimmin' child, not to look like a bloke in the process!

MMH pre-preg

MMH during preg

LOL at your pg picture!

YANBU

Have spent a good 15 mins this morning in front of the bathroom mirror trying to pluck the little blighters out of my neck and chin. Doesn't help that I can't get close enough to the mirror cos of my 33wk bump so miss them.

And whats with the hairy tuummy? Surely I shouldn't need to shave my tum before every midwife appointment in case she mistakes me for a man

Lol at the picture - funnily enough I had opposite. Saved a fortune on not needing to have legs waxed. Then afterwards it all came back (apart from top of head where it fell out).

I had 2 freaky black pube like hairs appeared on my chin when pregnant.

Unfortunately my DD is 16 months now and they still grow back in. [cry]

YANBU!
Do you know I've been too embarrased to ask anyone in RL about this but my 'pube like hairs' (LOVE it cinnamon!) haven't gone and its been 14m since ds was born...I pluck them out of my chin and neck. Please someone come along with a solution or tell us they magically disappear at some point!

MonstrousMerryHenry · 04/11/2009 14:05

CarrieBo, I think it's one of those lifetime 'gifts' that pregnancy bestows upon us, like stretch marks .

A solution?

Electrolysis is the solution, my dear - but not during preg.

I'm much hairier since I had my twin boys and now have to wax my tash and pluck loads of hairs out of my chin. Joy of joy!

Serennos · 04/11/2009 14:36

25 weeks pg now and I get one (just the one) on my chin. I am obsessed with it. It's not even bloody central so I have to go hunting for it.

::scrunches up face, rubs chin::

No, we're good at the moment, but when 1/4mm pokes through it's gonna be tweezer time!

I wish I could blame my full beard, tach, chest, back, ass (the list goes on) on the prognancy....PCOS is a royal PITA
