put it in his bedroom

I was going to do that this year, in homage to Pam from Gavin and Stacey - in last year's Christmas special she said that people who sent late cards were selfish, and she sent cards on the 1st November so by Christmas people had already had seven weeks of enjoyment out of them.

Alas, my plan to send them out by now has been ruined by work, uni, and RL.

Maybe this mother is doing this then? Either way i now have a xmas card on the top of the fire in the living room and a DS who looks very pleased with himself for beating me down (or driving me so insane i had to post an AIBU thread about it)....

Told DH when he phoned and he was almost wetting himself at hearing (imagine 4.10yo whineing voice) 'but mummy it looks so nice and christmas time-y' in the background.

I wouldn't let him play with that kid again

obviously have no standards ;)

Oh God I must be really cruel I make my kids take all their xmas cards up to their bedroom.

I make out that it's a really special treat to have xmas cards in your bedroom and the suckers fall for it.

At our school Christmas cards are not allowed because they are environmentally unfriendly. Get yourself on the PTA and get your school to adopt this policy.

fgs they can be recycled cant they ?some people just want to take all the nice things about Christmas away
