to feel a tad hacked off that dh is still in bed

dh didn't get in til about 4.00 this morning as been out with friends [which he hardly ever does]anyway he is still in bed and i'm getting abit hacked off as i have things to do.
i was up at 7.00 with dd [4] and have been trying to give her my time aswell as do a roast dinner,make a pudding,washing,drying clothes and general housework.
dh looked after dd yesterday while i was at work i work 20 hours a week but i'm on a course mon to fri next week so am trying to get all my bits and pieces done.
he is a great husband and daddy and i don't begrudge him going out but think he should be up by now.
just sent dd upstairs to play so she'll no doubt wake him up

To be honest I think you are being a little unreasonable to be 'hacked off'. But it sounds like you could do with some help now...so take him a cup of tea and nicely ask if he could get up now and give you a hand.

He sounds like a 'goodun'.

i would think he has had a good 10hrs sleep by now so yeah, id be kicking his arse outta bed!

Im like that though - if im only allowed 6-8hrs a night - so is he!

snap mrstimlovejoy- but my partner was working! I have a 14m old who has been up half the night with a bug and I could do with some help too! Im sure your dh will be up when he smells the roast!

he's up now perhaps i was being a bit unreasonable.its just since dd started school in sept i like us to have family time at the weekends which isn't always possible as dh works away he goes all over the world and i'm a nurse so sometimes work weekends.
we're going to have dinner soon and then watch a film together.thanks for your replies x
