We have just returned from a local theme park. Ok, its Hallowen week, I get that. OK, the theme park had a number of really scarey monsters/scarecrows/vampires walking around. I get that its all in the fun of Halloween. But when my DD aged 2 hides behind my legs screaming, why oh why would bloody Dracula start running after her with his arms out stretched? He was an old man FFS, anyone could see she was terrified.

Not in the slightest. My dd who is 8.5 is getting freaked out by the red candles for putting on graves. Thanks whoever told her that they bring the dead back to life . If someone chased her around dressed up like that, she'd probably void her bladder and never sleep again. Complain, it really isn't funny.

I should just add that the candles are being sold in supermarkets, we live in a very catholic part of Switzerland and tomorrow the cemetaries will be heaving with relatives remembering their departed.
