to think that when someone asks you what you would like for Christmas

that then that should be what they get you?

I never want anything. I'm one of those 'oh, just smellies' people. I honestly don't care and never really need anything.

But this year, MIL asked dh what I want, and I said I would really like a subscription to Good Food Magazine. I know I'm sad

So dh tells me last night, that she doesn't want to get me that. It's not a proper present and she's not getting it.

FFS! The one year I actually ask for something, and apparently I'm not allowed.

Why can't people just do as you ask? I can remember years ago, my sister asking for a microwave for Christmas from my dad, cos hers had blown up. He got her 6 driving lessons

aw she probably wants to get you something she can wrap

LittleOneMum · 28/10/2009 13:33

Bless! Maybe you should change it to 'just smellies' and DH can get you the subscription?

Bless her, she probably does. She is a little gem, tbh. I'm just whining
