We had a few friends over for drinks and my friend's new man had his phone on and took a call in the middle of us chatting, then had a conversation in a loud voice (didn't even say 'excuse me' and leave the room.

Also can meet up with people and they are half chatting and half continuously texting on their mobiles. They even read out some of the messages.

Another friend had a coffee morning and was sending texts to her friend across the room.

FFS, can't these people just turn their phones off for a while?

I needed that moan!

hope you feel better now

It is annoying when people try and talk to you and hold a call at the same time...grrr

My mum annoys me - I can be mid-sentence in a conversation and she'll open a text from my sister (it's only ever my sister!) and start replying, thus totally switching off to me for ages as she takes forever to send a message...

how bloody rude is THAT!

YANBU. My pet hate is when you go for a drink or a coffee with someone and their phone is on the whole time and they take calls and read texts throughout! Very rude imo

YANBU. I will ignore customers who approach me to be served at work if they are carrying on a mobile phone conversation. I will go onto the persone behind after telling the first one "let me know when you are ready".

my husband has an i-phone addiction, it drives me totally bonkers. I actually think he doesn't realise how often he looks up inane crap on the internet. I'd like to break his fingers so he couldn't use it. But that is just mean.

I hate it. It drives me sooooo mad.
