biscuits are supposed to be crunchy, not soggy. ew.

Feierabend · 27/10/2009 13:26

LOL I didn't know there was a science to this whole dunking business!

My parents once had a girl from France staying with us for a week when we were teenagers. She'd dunk her bread with butter and jam on it. Yuk.

More info on dunking here and specifically on the science here.

Support for Bebe's people and their ways here!

Not exactly related, but I also enjoy this Douglas Adams piece on tea making. There's an animation and everything.

Wy do I feel like people are talking about me

YANBU

Each to their own. But why would you drink tea if you weren't going to sweeten it with some moreish biscuit crumbs? And Hobnobs are just porridge oats if you don't dunk

Malted milks rule when it come to dunking

Guimuahahahahahaaaaaaa · 27/10/2009 15:28

Make mine a packet of chocolate malted milk please! Loving your name, biscuits, though I think you should capitalise MUST foe emphasis!

Guimuahahahahahaaaaaaa · 27/10/2009 15:29

And for emphasis, also.

LoveBeingAMummy · 27/10/2009 15:30

yanbu biscuits should never be dunked

Claire236 · 27/10/2009 15:53

Hob Nobs & Digestives must be dunked. Not chocolate ones though, don't like dunking chocolate biscuits. Got a friend who swears by dunking Yorkie bars in hot chocolate the thought of which makes my teeth hurt.

VineGruesomeCock · 27/10/2009 15:58

If you bite the ends off a twix (or a kitkat) and use it as a straw, the tea melts the biscuit and caramel on the way up and it goes all gooey and delicious, far better than dunking a crappy old buscuit

Guimuahahahahahaaaaaaa · 27/10/2009 16:01

Have you tried a Tim Tam Slam? Like doing it with a penguin, only sturdier.

Goodness, that last sentence could be taken out of context

Guimuahahahahahaaaaaaa · 27/10/2009 16:01

Or possibly softer. Haven't had a Tim Tam for yonks.

Feierabend · 27/10/2009 16:56

You are GROSS!

Guimuahahahahahaaaaaaa · 27/10/2009 17:01

Don't blame me. The Tim Tam thing is an Australian --invention/ phenomenon!

BEWiTcHEDnod · 27/10/2009 19:20

You can do the tim tam slam with a Time Out bar for a UK version

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

wafer goes all soft and chocolate goes all yummy and melty

BEWiTcHEDnod · 27/10/2009 19:21

Sorry VineGruesome - didn't read your post - a kitkat would be perfect as well.

I am salivating at the thought and no chocolate in the house...

Guimuahahahahahaaaaaaa · 27/10/2009 19:21

Do it! Do it! Do it!
Slam! Slam! Slam!

BEWiTcHEDnod · 27/10/2009 19:22
