To be pissed off by being asked 'Do I know how to change the hoover bag'?!

Fucking cheek, as I'm the only one who ever uses it.

Does dp know how to USE it eh? Never seems to so TOUGH YES YOU GET TO CHANGE THE BAG BOOO HOOO

Changing the bag is the fun bit. It's when all the hoovering really pays off.

Oh YANBU, my DP went to use the hoover last week and shock horror had to empty the bag (not the bag but the clip off plastic bit) and he said "oh, you haven't emptied this in a while"!!!!

"YOU HAVEN'T HOOVERED IN A WHILE"

It wasn't that long since I emptied it, I'm not a total dirty cow person but it wasn't on my list of priorities last time I flew around with the hoover!!!

I was once livid when hoovering years ago and it was all rattly and odd and after a while I looked in and there was no bag at all. BF had used it, taken old one out, not bothered putting new one in, and put it away

What a twat.

I found my tumble dryers filter today. It had only taken 5 yrs.

So you see I do clean things!

However, doing bins and emptying the hoover and pruning stuff and cleaning oven and washing up are dp's jobs- not signed in blood on a bit of paper you understand, just how it works out.

I feel bitter and betrayed that he has reneged on our unspoken agreement.

What next- will i be expected to grout/plaster things? And drill holes?

Oh no, that means I have to cut/strim the grass and tidy the shed

and i'll have to sit on my arse and listen to crappy indie music
