I sold my Braun on ebay after giving up on it. Hurt way too much, would rather pay for waxing.

Interested in the tough hair theory. I tried the Braun silk epil used it for one summer on legs only. It did eventually get fractionally less agony but the thought of going near my bikini line is terrifying. I never managed to do my ankles because the pain was too great! mind you cream removers don't really work on my hair either so I think I am stuck with deeply attached hair! Shame because I loved the results. But just too much pain.

Inmylittlehead - I'll do it again in a couple of days and see how it goes from there. Don't want to go back to shaving - epilating is quite therapeutic in a painful sort of way!!
