I'm sure they used to sometimes have female players on big break do they have separate tournaments somewhere?

I think the women do seperate tournaments

I can uderstand with football
but it is hardly a contact sport

the rules allow women to play in the normal tournaments that the men play in, but they very rarely qualify.
sometimes you see women's names in the early stages of major tournaments.

there are also women's snooker tournaments, but they aren't televised (or much publicized really, which is a shame)

just like women's football.

YABU it is so blindingly obvious that NO woman is ever going to be prepared to wear a polyester waistcoat on national television.
