To think that humans can be really mean to each other at times?

Is there really any godliness in mankind?
I can be a bit of a misanthrope at times but please restore my faith in the goodness of humanity!

I have been really mean in the past and others have been really mean to me.

On the news I hear of murder, rape, terroism and humna error.

Sometimes I think that humans are so competetive and complicated and that this drives us to commit great atrocities. Sometimes I am reminded of the good nature of my fellow men and of the love that binds people together.

Gosh- I can be a miserable old sod sometimes!

Life is fundamentally unfair - you have to get over that and get on with it imvho.
We have to focus on the good stuff and not all competition is bad.
There's no godliness in me, but there is goodness as there is in many others.

Remember that it is not good copy to put good news on the Television.
Humans revel in the misery of others.

Take 5 mins and listen to the birds and look at the leaves changing colour.
Always cheers me up when I am being a miserable cow

Mabe it's just survival of the fittest and the selfiish gene stuff but that seems so ruthless dosn't it?

I don't think I'm questioning that life can be unfair. I'm just a bit horrified at low people can stoop. I am talking from personal experience aswell as the news etc.
