To think dusty skirting boards at the dentists

mean other equipment might not be clean also?

no, it means they are so busy doing their job they don't have time to wipe the skirting boards

PeedOffWithNits · 30/09/2009 21:02

for example, my lounge is often neglected and dusty, but that is because I am scrupulous about cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms

southeastastra · 30/09/2009 21:04

how dusty?

groundhogs · 30/09/2009 21:05

Hmm, but i doubt the dentist would be cleaning... but they would surely be employing a cleaner.

I can't bear this, it's unsettling. perhaps mention it to your dentist in person the next time you go... he/she probably IS to busy to notice it, but i'm sure would get the person responsible to deal with it.

LynetteScavo · 30/09/2009 21:11

Visably dusty. From 4 feet away.

I didn't run my fingers along the skirting board just to check if there was any dust.

I could never say anything!

But it's bothering me.

Ah, but it is a different person responsible for cleaning other equipment. I assume his cleaner does not sterilise the instuments.

I went to a dentist once. He was really crazy, he was the only dentist who was open on a bank holiday and in between me and the previous patient he whipped out the hoover and ran it around the room.

god you need to get a life.

Yes, I agree with the OP.

I went to the dentist with DD on Friday. As I was sitting with her, I took a look at the surgery. It was spotless (I think my home is clean, but it was definitely not up to the standards of the dentist). This is how it should be.

YA a bit U.
If people looked at my skirting boards they'd never eat in my house. Luckily, I'm like Peedoff, my bathroom & kitchen are like shrines to clealiness, but the rest sort of goes to pot. No-one has died from skirting-board related food poisoning contracted at my house though, so I don't really care.

GirlsAreLOud · 01/10/2009 11:47

I've never cleaned my skirting boards.
