i am fed up of hearing the first few lines of the songs over and over....and if he insists on singing them they i would like him to learn the next few lines!

and fed up of him constantly asking if its on the tv!

I am guessing as he dances along and is therefore moving it can only be good for him

YABU. It's complete shite.

PrettyCandles · 29/09/2009 19:17

Why not? My dc love it too.

Though if you're buying it, please by the real thing and get an ABBA album!

Hulababy · 29/09/2009 19:18

My 7y DD has the DVD and the music on her iPod. She loves them. Lots of her friends do, many much younger. All the reception age children sing the songs.

I did try giving DD the Abba CD onstead, but she wanted the versions she knew from the film. Seemed fair enough.

Lilyloo · 29/09/2009 19:18

my ds 7 and dd1 4 love it it does grate though after the nth time

idobelieveinfairies · 30/09/2009 16:03

DS sings 'mamma mia'..and 'rich mans world' (or whatever the words are) the most.

I think he would like the dvd best..he does keep asking about Sophie.

It's just as he has started school, and hasn't attended a nursery he isn't as clued up on nursery rhymes as some of the children. I am guessing he will be wanting to share his abba songs with the rest of the class.
