Poor ds is squeezing into undies that are getting too small because I can't seem to find new ones anywhere.

For the last three months every time I have been in a large supermarket or Marks & Spencer I have looked for little undergruds for him and there are NEVER any in his size.

Tell a lie, Sainsburys had some Thomas ones age 6-7. But isn't he a bit old for Thomas? The boys at school would tease him mercilessly.

I have resorted to buying him boxers, but I much prefer the look of "slips" on his little bum.

Is it not better for his later fertility to have him in boxers?

We have moved the boys onto trunk style shorts, more fitted than boxers but not like slips.

We found our eldest got teased horribly for wearing slips when he got into year one.

Oh, little boy's bums in boxers look wonderful!

Primark normally have pants.
My DS's prefer boxers though. The tighter fitting ones look better.

Asda do pants rather than boxers and they have just plain colours. DS (ASD) prefers pants and is in age 10 so I know how difficult it can be to find tradional pants as they get bigger.

GGirl, thats the ones we got I tihnk, they also had Go Ape ones and Bart Simpson ones!

Both boys love them and say they are comfy.

I have the same problem.

DS refuses to wear boxers or shorts, he only wants pants and aparantly all the other boys wear them too.

Luvkily he still fits into his 4-5yr pants.

Jersey trunks are definitely the way to go - the last of DS (6)'s friends wearing slips finally admitted to his mother a few months ago that he was being teased about them. DS insisted on trunks about 3 months after being potty-trained, so I have actually had the opposite problem in the past, struggling to find trunks small enough.

DS is in matalan ones ATM and they seem fine.

I stocked up 6/7 in Asda. They are only plain ones tho.

I didn't even realise that Yr1 boys would even notice what other kids are wearing never mind comment on them.

tibni if you get desperate I can send you some from the Netherlads, these, these and thesego up to about age 12. Super cheap too.

Oh yes, Y1 boys notice. They compare what's inside as well as the pants .

thank you norktasticninja - we are ok at the moment but I may come shouting when he grows out of these. He is only 8 but the same size as his 10 yr old sister! And too small pants are just not nice!

Is my ds (y4) the only one still in slips then?

My dss (5) and (7) both still wear slips and so do most of the other boys in their classes. Mum bought them some of the fitted boxers for school but they both flatly refused to wear them.

I bought their school underwear from M&S, but have just checked and they only have plain white ones left in larger sizes of slips. here.

Woolworths are out of 5-6 but have 7-8 left here.

Alternatively, Next usually have them, but I find the elastic is not very good on them and tends to go slack after a couple of washes.
