Waiting to move house so lost dd's nursery place and oh my GOSH it's so hard to fill the days!

So, was considering taking the dc (3 and 1) to Freightliners Farm in North London... but then I suddenly remembered all the e. coli business. Should I find something else to do?

(and what? feeling bad that every day they go to park/toddler group/library. We live in London fgs...)

Yanbu. I've been planning to take mine for ages and I'm still going to take them in a couple of weeks.

took my dds 1 and 2 to a farm yesterday.
was fine loads of other play stuff to do there anyway though don't know the one you're talking about.
how about science museum?

I took DS to a farm on Monday.
Didn't worry that he would catch anything unusual.
Just made sure he washed his hands when we left and thoroughly when we got home.
He has lived to tell the tale!

cool, thanks.

Science museum - yes! will have to negotiate tube (eek) but lots for ds to run around and try to destroy. Will investigate.

Gonna take them to Nat History with dh on sat too.

my sister took her dds 3.11 and 22 mo on monday said it was great fun.
am also a bit AAARGGH about the Tube (even without the dds) but my sister said South Ken (I think) is an easy station to negotiate with dcs.
we only didn't go as fil was in hospital.
Having said that dh drives black cab so we'd get dropped off outside if we went!

Yes, it is, isn't it? Lots of subways and long walkways, iirc. Might do that next week...

Lucky you with personal taxi service. Hope your fil is ok.

Umlellala · 24/09/2009 08:13

well, exactly. Wasn't fussed, but thought I would just check with MN wisdom that I wasn't being ridiculously neglectful (am of the 'builds their immune system' persuasion/lazy).
