To want a wife rather than a boyfriend!

OK so I know its a poor joke but yesterday when I was asked at work whether I had found a boyfriend (I am a LP) I replied that I didnt need a boyfriend i needed a wife, as I have enough on my plate as it is. the more I thought about it the more I realised how close to the truth it was. I work full time in a full on job, commute miles, travel with work, look after 2 kids, dogs, house etc, pay for everything and hardly ever get a break (1 day a fortnight when H has the kids) It would be so nice to have someone at least to share the load but i really dont need a bloke to look after too. All the men in my office (all married) seem to find this rather funny!

yes. I know what you mean. I too sometimes think that my life would be better in many ways if my partner was a woman.

I have a DH who is very domesticated. Reversed(ish) roles. It works for us.

Took me a while to figure out your OP. I thought the L in LP stood for Lesbian . Makes more sense as lone.
