or a local b and b on Saturday night in the vain hope of getting some sleep?

Dh suggested it and he was probably joking but I'm seriously thinking about it.

YANBU, but ear plugs might be cheaper

is it babies/children keeping you awake?

When dd was 18months old I entered a competition to win a nights stay in a new hotel, sadly I didn't win but the thought of having a hot bubbly bath to myself, a bed to myself, a pile of magazines, box of chocs, a full nights sleep, a lie in and breakfast in bed.......heaven. Go fot it!

Can I come?

allaboutme · 15/09/2009 08:41

Go for it!
I've slept in the basement before with earplugs when I've needed a night off from the baby! If I had a smaller house then I would def go to a B&B!

Excellent. I've just told him he can stay overnight when he goes to the cricket tomorrow so I can justify it even more.

It is babies/children Gingernut. How did you guess??!!

I'm going to book it now!

I'd make it a regular Saturday-night booking
