Well my father has a girlfriend who is 35, and Chinese, they met whilst he was over there on business she was his interpretor. My father is 60, from the outside you may think its odd, at first we did. But they have been together 15 yrs, she has a very good job in the city, has phds etc comin out of her ears, earns more money than my father, and they are very happy. So at first glance evrything is not always as it seems, besides as its been said its not your business, unless you suspect some kind of foul play, or she seems as though she is scared or worried or uncomfortable, then do nothing and keep it to yourself.

Give her and them a chance, love comes in all different ways, not many people meet fall in love and live happily ever after like a fairytale, it can come from anywhere when you least expect it.

Vess might have a point.

this has opened my eyes, however I have resolved not to ask the woman any more questions about how they met.
so i will never know

As the mother of a daughter who looks Thai, this whole thread is deeply depressing. Do I hope she never has the audacity to get involved with a white man? Or that if she does, she makes damned sure she looks the same age as him?

And surely all newly married Thai women are "Thai Brides"? Can my daughter not grow up and get married without it being assumed that she's involved in a purely financial transaction?

while it still goes on i spose.

however most posters on here aren't of that opinion. i think.
