I have been away since the weekend and got back at lunchtime. Not only did DH think it was a good idea to go see his sister rather than coming home, he said he'd be home at 5 or 530 but didn't get there until 615. I feel that normally this would be fine, but surely when I have been away seeing me should be a priority?

He wants to come home to you I think rather than be sat lonely at home waiting ... doesn't mean he won't be very happy to see you! Don't let this ruin your evening.

I'm sure male logic will have a part to play in this somehow...

Perhaps he's clearing the decks of stuff he meant to do while you were away, like see his sister, but got behind, so he needs to see her to kinda get her out of the way, and off his list of things to do... so he can focus fully on you, now you are back...

Glass of wine, run bath and jump him....
