To not expect a sellotaped hole in my crisp bag?

I bought a bag of McCoys crisps at the weekend in a service station.

When I went to open the bag I noticed that there was a hole in the front of the bag that had been stuck together with sellotape!

Would you complain about this?

Weird. Were they soggy?

I wouldn't complain about that but some people would.

mmrsceptic · 08/09/2009 18:13

yes, of course, complain, you'll get a lot of crisps and free things

HecatesTwopenceworth · 08/09/2009 18:13

Well, I am paranoid so I'd be worried that someone had stuck something in there!

How big was the hole?

AuntieMaggie · 08/09/2009 18:21

I haven't eaten them. I'm worried about where the sellotape came from and what could've gotten in there before they noticed!

I would complain both to Walkers and to the service station-eep the bag until Walkers asks for it.

YANBU. Complain! If you're not near the service station, contact the crisp maker direct

Pyrocanthus · 08/09/2009 22:29

Ew. I'd probably throw them away out of laziness, but you should complain.

Firawla · 09/09/2009 10:10

that is disgusting and you should complain
