dh is in the regular raf and I was thinking of joining before I fell preg with ds who is 8 mths old. Am still really interested in the forces but could never join regular but was thinking of applying for the reserves. Dont know if this would make me a bad mummy though!

You need to give an awful lot of time to it, have you got that time to give?

(neighbour was in reserves but stopped when she had her dd as she couldn't put in the hours any longer)

Reading the info on the net it looked like its one weekend a month and 2 weeks training camp a year which I think would be do-able. The only thing is I dont work at the moment but have been looking for a part time job. Not sure what an employer would make of it .
