So how rare is rare? Honestly, if you're getting through one cigarette a month, I wouldn't worry.

LightningBolt · 24/08/2009 22:54

Chill.

You are out enjoying yourself,it isn't like you are mainlining heroin

Do you want to quit?

If so try nhs helpline.

If it is the odd social puff I wouldn't worry.

chosenone · 24/08/2009 22:58

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 24/08/2009 22:59

Actually, I've just read the title "sometimes I have a drink when I'm out"

Crikey, you wild thing you.

kitesarefun · 24/08/2009 23:00

I wish I could still have the odd social smoke.

But despite the fact that I used to smoke 10 a day for several years, a couple of drags now gives me head spin and makes me feel sick (just like your first ever ciggie does).

So now I don't even try.

fandango75 · 24/08/2009 23:02

ha funny funny made me feel much better. I gave up a couple of years ago and didnt bother me at all my son is now 7 month old and i have had a few ciggies over the past few months when out. My husband thinks I am a maniac giving myself such a hard time - do need to chill being a knob.
