of course it's bloody awful. You can block him even if he's not a friend.

4andnotout · 22/08/2009 22:21

Would it be ott to report him too, it's seriously unfunny.

oh yes, definately report him. I forgot there was that option.

southeastastra · 22/08/2009 22:32

i'd leave it

CitrusZest · 22/08/2009 23:44

Really, really offensive, but I'm jewish so maybe more to me than others

SomeGuy · 22/08/2009 23:52

it is illegal in Germany.

Not sure who you're supposed to be reporting him to?

4andnotout · 23/08/2009 09:57

I meant reporting the photo to fb, perhaps it hit a nerve as dp's mum is jewish and his grandparents fled holland just before the war.

Of course it's in bad taste, I don't think you need to be Jewish or have a Jewish connection to feel that.

mayorquimby · 23/08/2009 13:26

i don't know if it's in bad taste. without context how can you know?
if it were a comedian you liked (monty python used to do that kind of shit all the time) you'd probably happily put it down to satire or them trying to be ironic. if your already disposed to disliking someone you will use it to vindicate your dislike of them.
