slightly squeamish dh last night was in one of his blame-y, irate moods, the ones where it becomes apparent that he he really is his father's son.

I am in the bedroom and he shouts from the bathroom "And what is this stuff that keeps appearing in the bath??"

I know what he's talking about, having just been in there and noticed it myself - it's a gloop of Neal's Yard wild Rose Beauty balm, which I've recently started using on my face. I am also fairly sure that he has probably scooped it up and is about to come and wave it accusingly in my face

So I say, in a slightly embarrassed way ... "Oh, sorry ... yeah i know .. it's just something that happens in the last few weeks of pregnancy ... sorry."

(am nearly 36 weeks)

He pauses in doorway, gloop on finger as I expected. The look on his face!!! I have been laughing ever since.

Makes it even funnier that he is "mildly irate" - has he had a sense of humour bypass?

The fact that you knew he was going to do that shows how often he must have done something like that - good for you for winding him up. Bet he will think before he speaks next time!!!

Why are there gloops of it randomly around the bathroom? I thought that stuff was expensive!

LOL at cervix-produced rose-flavoured gloop though.

The BATH, not the bathroom!!

I wash my face with it in the shower, some of it ends up in the tub.

and bless dh, he's a love. Not at all the clean and tidy police, just gets a bit uptight when stressed. When I say 'mildly irate' I mean embarrassed and "OK, LTEC can we drop it now??" I do have a tendency to overstate things.
