I wrote "snappy little barky little feckers" or some such thing on a thread and when I read it back I had a right guffaw.

I made someone type "lol" yesterday for the first time in about 5 years..I was so amazed I actualy commented on it!

Oh you can laugh but never type lol at the end of your own post. Makes you sound at best, vain and at worst, mad.

YANBU I laugh at myself all the time no bugger else does I have to feel appreciated somehow.

As I say, I tend to just shake my head as in 'god jem you reaaly are a sad sack of shite aren't you' type way.

I like a rofl and I like a pmsl. Don't do Lols very much really. I quite like arf myself.

I like a good snurk myself. I do use lol now and again but sparingly and only when deserved. (I imagine it's used a lot on netmums.) If you get a lol from me I've probably sniggered, whereas PMSL is spitting tea all over the keyboard.

pmsl would rather be spurting liquid not from your mouth surely, but from another place?

I re-read my own posts endlessly. I find them curiously satisfying! I do have a wee laff to myself sometimes as I type.

Best is when I read an old thread, laugh at a post and then realise I wrote it!
