to feel so relieved to have 2 hours to myself?

Kids both in preschool now so I now have 2 glorious hours per day to myself. It just feels amazing to be able to do my own thing with no dh or dc's here for a little while. Don't get me wrong I love my family... am i the only one?

not at all. When dd started school last september I was finally alone in the house after nearly 18 years!

my dd2 started school today, she has the usual faffing for a few weeks then she will start full time in sept.

i will miss her loads when she is there full time, she is my little buddy and has always been with me but my god i am looking forward to having my afternoons to myself once i finish work at lunchtime.

Not at all - my folks have 3yr old DS on a Sunday and DH works so I get a few hours to read the paper/chill/do the washing/put the dinner on/make the lunches.....hang on!
