To think Amanda Holden is a bitch

She was on Alan Carr tonight and was gratuitously unpleasant and unbelievably bitchy about Susan Boyle.

I didn't watch 'Britain's got Talent' and am not a particular Susan Boyle fan, but it strikes me that someone with Susan's background needs to be treated really sensitively and I couldn't believe what I heard tonight.

Isn't Amanda Holden only famous for shagging a couple of minorly famous people? I certainly really bloody object to her being given license to judge other people's talents when she has not visible ones of her own other than the ability to keep her eyelids open despite the extremely heavy mascara.

hocuspontas · 17/08/2009 11:37

I've always liked Amanda! Not now - that's awful. Maybe she was drunk although that's still not an excuse. Do we know if there were lots of complaints? Hope so.

chichichien · 17/08/2009 11:39

I have no idea if she is a bitch.

I find her silly and don't watch her but I did catch her on Alan Carr last night.

She was doing very strange expressions and tight pouts, I noticed that.

AnyFucker · 17/08/2009 11:41

Personally, I think she was trying too hard to be funny

She must be fully aware of the public's perception of her, and tried to be "hilarious"

It wasn't successful

Fimbo · 17/08/2009 11:42

She was on that Gordon Ramsay thing on a Friday night where him and slebs (not you AH, love) cook food in a hour.

She was swearing and carrying on like god's gift.

Truly vile woman.

She's a class A bitch.
I saw it too and was shocked. Not funny at all.

I thought she was a bit sneery about Cheryl Cole being too nervous to judge BGT too.

notwavingjustironing · 17/08/2009 12:58

That website is a bit sick-making too.

She makes me shudder. And not in a good way.

ipiratethief · 17/08/2009 12:58

i think it's been pulled off youtube, as it states 'not available in your country'.

MadameCastafiore · 17/08/2009 13:03

Susan's got talent - she can sing!

Amanda's talent, opening her legs and lying there no doubt with dubious people like Les Dennis and Neil Morrisy - well we could all do that to get famous but have more scruples! (I'd do Brian Connely and Martin Clunes for a start! )

NorbertDentressangle · 17/08/2009 13:09

She always comes across as quite vile in interviews IMO.

I read an interview with her when she was pregnant -she was going on and on about why there was no reason for women to "let themselves go" during pregnancy (her definition of "letting yourself go" being no longer wearing sexy dresses, high heels, full face of slap every day etc).

Obviously shes been fortunate enough not to suffer from HE, SPD or a variety of other pregnancy related complaints.

I'd like to see her tottering along in
her Jimmy Choos whilst being crippled with SPD.

I'd also like to see her without the help of stylists/ make-up artists/ botox practioners/ nannies /cooks /personal trainers.......

Greensleeves · 17/08/2009 13:11

"I'd like to see her tottering along in

as someone who spent nearly 6 months in a wheelchair with a collapsed pelvis I really guffawed at that

gingernutlover · 17/08/2009 13:12

have added a comment on her blog too, but doubt it will get published

MadreInglese · 17/08/2009 13:16

Ugh, YANBU

I cannot bear Amanda Holden, even prior to BGT when she did Cutting It and some other unfunny sitcom thing. What is the point of her?

HerBeatitude · 17/08/2009 13:17

Oh why do we even have to have crass, unpleasant twats like her and Alan Carr on the telly anyway?

It just shows how far standards have fallen, that taking the piss out of vulnerable people passes as reasonable entertainment. What a truly ugly person the simpering Holden is.

MadreInglese · 17/08/2009 13:17

I liked her comment on the blind date clip "oh I was a drama student, I was desperate to be on tv"

and of course there's nothing desperate about you now love is there?

Curiousmama · 17/08/2009 13:20

I bet she wouldn't dare do this in the US they'd linch her.

I watched in open mouthed too...she's a thick bitch with zero talent.

I love Subo we'll hear of her long after AH is a distant memory.

Curiousmama · 17/08/2009 13:24

Oh and Alan Carr's a knob too for doing this with her, wonder who's idea it was?

TheCrackFox · 17/08/2009 13:24

She really does love herself, doesn't she?
