I really farkin hate it.

OP posts:
Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:20

surely that is not sporticus?

Why is he demeaning himself so badly?

OP posts:
MollieO · 10/08/2009 21:20

OMDB that is SPORTACUS!!

I'd happily feed him one of your chocolate cupcakes with chocolate ganache icing any day (did you like my thread linking?)

Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:21

I agree k999

I also bloody hate Balamory.

OP posts:
Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:22

lol mollie

Well, I might too, but only if he took off the ridiculous spandex and moustache and stopped talking in that stupid voice

MollieO · 10/08/2009 21:22

Before I had ds I saw an interview with him. Very funny and self-depricating. I thought he seemed rather nice [don't get out much emoticon]

MIAonline · 10/08/2009 21:22

YANBU

I have only ever seen very small glimpses of the programme but the guy has really strange bendy legs and he gives me the creeps.

I am glad it is not just me that has such a bad reaction to it.

MollieO · 10/08/2009 21:23

I'd help him to take off his spandex, moustache, hat, boots......

Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:23

that pink twit, I can never actually picture her as real. Does she have parents and go home and do normal girl things or just live in a box at cbeebies HQ?

OP posts:
notsoteenagemum · 10/08/2009 21:25

I long for the cbeebies days again,
all we have is Ben bloody 10 and Hannah farking Montana or worse Zach and Cody.

Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:25

knowing he plays sporticus is enough to remove all sex appeal for me though.

And those kids in balamory, are they just randomes, is their nursery actually the one they are in, or are they young actors?

FlightHattendant · 10/08/2009 21:26

Lazytown is GREAT! I adore lazytown. I love it. Mollie you have no business posting that on a parenting site

Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:26

DS is 6 and is still stuck on cbeebies, he refuses to even try watching anything else. Maybe it is a good thing?

OP posts:
Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:27

Flight control yourslf woman!

Don't you care that the storyline is utter shite?

OP posts:
K999 · 10/08/2009 21:27

I have that too as dd1 is 9!! I hate Hanna Montanna and the likes and as for the "Suite Life" its no wonder that I am slowly going stir crazy.....

Me and dd2 watched Pingu the other day and I was actually laughing along.....aaaggghhh!!

Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:28

lazytown is even worse when listened to on Radio 7 in the morning. Puts me right off my cornflakes.

OP posts:
FlightHattendant · 10/08/2009 21:29

Not in the slightest OM, not in the slightest...

Fwiw you ought to have seen Konnie Huq get all flustered when he came on to do a prize draw
He did one of those spin press ups then ran off the set, she nearly wet herself. she was like 'Oh FARK he can actually DO it [giggle]'

MollieO · 10/08/2009 21:30

We watch CBBC mostly (other than Lazytown!). Ds started when he was 4.5 and I prefer most of the programmes. I lost interest in Cbeebies when they did away with Chris and Piu.

LetThemEatCake · 10/08/2009 21:30

don't mind Lazytown that much

not a fan of something special although I appreciate that it is inclusive and necessary

Balamory & Me Too - I would never flippin' leave my kids with Miss Hooley or Granny Murray, they are both demented. And why is PC PLum always hanging around the nursery? something not right about him. Also, when parents pick up their kids from Granny Murray and ask 'did you have fun with Granny Muray" they never get a chance to answer!! It's always that Scottish loon barging in with "och aye, you betcha!!". As a parent, I wouldn't stand for it

HATE Timmy Time. Quite like Big Barn Farm.

Very fond of Nina & the Neurons. Hate Numberjacks (anything could happen!!)

Big Cook Little cook, makes me want to slit my wrists in the way that they are so obviously longing to slit theirs

Now - Doodle Do - there's a show!! there's a presenter!!

Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:31

lol

I probalby wouldn't say no to seeing him in the flesh, as long as he wasn't dressed as sporticus lol

OP posts:
MollieO · 10/08/2009 21:33

Lazytown has a storyline? Can't say I've noticed. I like Robbie Rotten too (not found any interesting photos though!).

Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:33

LetThemEatCake I agree with everything you say!!!

I would never leave my child with those loons, and those strange halfwitted men. I cannot believe some parents do.

I do like doodle time or whatever it is called.

OP posts:
Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:35

Mollie, the storyline always goes like this:

Crazy pink girl decides to do something, usually with sporticus.

Johnny rotten tries to sabotage it.

It takes ditzy pink girl ages to figure out it is mr rotten.

Finally he is discovered.

Pink girl does silly Eurovision-style dance.

The end.

OP posts:
Overmydeadbody · 10/08/2009 21:35

or robbie rotten or whatever his name is. PAthetic vilain.

OP posts:
enprovence · 10/08/2009 21:38

You are not being un reasonable. I cannot stand:
BIG COOK LITTLE COOK - it is nauseating

FIMBLES - AAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

BALAMORY - UUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I can tolerate, however, anything with Mr Tumble, In the Night Garden (fab!!). Want to think of some more but can't, ah well!

MollieO · 10/08/2009 21:38

Noo, Robbie Rotten is text book comic villan. I liked it when ds was younger and he didn't realise that it was RR dressed up every time.

My fav programmmes now are Hotel Trubble and Scoop (no hunky men at all in either).
